This is the virtue of praying Fajr in congregation at the mosque
The Fajr prayer is a prayer that is special from other prayers, besides there are many virtues in its implementation, to perform this prayer we have to fight extreme drowsiness and get up to leave a soft mattress and a warm blanket.
In the dawn call to prayer also added the sentence Assholaatu khairum minan naum which means "Prayer is better than sleep".
There are many virtues of the Fajr prayer in congregation, including the following which we have summarized from various sources:
Be in Allah's Guarantee
"Whoever prays at dawn then he is in the guarantee of Allah. Therefore, do not let Allah demand anything from you from His guarantee. For whoever Allah demands something from His guarantee, Allah will surely find him, and will cover him over his face in the Hellfire." (HR. Muslim no. 163)
Witnessed by the Angels
People who perform the Fajr prayer in congregation in the mosque will be witnessed by the angels on duty at night and the angels on duty during the day. Because when dawn arrives, alternately the angels who are on duty at night will go up to the sky and the angels who are on duty during the day will come down to earth.
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The angels of the day take turns accompanying you with the angels of the night, and they gather at the time of the Fajr and Asr prayers. After that, the angels who were watching over you all night went up to the sky, then Allah asked them – and He knows best about them –, 'How did you leave my servants?' They replied, 'We left them in prayer, and we came to them when they pray." (Bukhari)
Keep away from hypocrisy
“The prayers that are the hardest for the hypocrites are the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer. Had they known its virtues, they would have come to it even on all fours. I really wanted to order someone so that the prayer was established, then I ordered someone to lead the people, then I and some people brought firewood to a people who did not attend the prayer, then I burned their houses." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari no. 141 and Muslim no. 651)
Get the virtue of praying all night
"Whoever prays Isha` in congregation, it is as if he had prayed half the night. And whoever prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole night." (HR. Muslim no. 656)
Provided with sustenance
Once upon a time the Prophet SAW prayed the morning prayer. As soon as he finished, he returned home and found his daughter Fatima ra sleeping. Then he turned Fatimah's body with his feet, then said to her, "O Fatima, wake up and witness the sustenance of your Lord because Allah distributes the sustenance of the servants between the dawn prayer and the rising of the sun." (H.R. Baihaqi).
Key to Victory
"The Messenger of Allah, when he wanted to attack a people, he put it off until dawn." (Narrated by Bukhari) It is said that after the Egyptian-Israeli war broke out in 1973, there was an Egyptian soldier who spoke to Jewish soldiers who understood Arabic. The Egyptian soldier said, "By Allah, we will fight and defeat you until some of you hide behind trees and stones, then the trees and stones say, 'O servant of Allah, O Muslim, here is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.'” The Jewish soldiers replied, “All this will not happen before your morning prayers the same as Friday prayers.”
Better than the world and everything in it
"Two rak'ahs of the sunnah prayer at dawn are better than the world and all that is in it." (HR. Muslim 725).
Fajr Prayer is the Savior from Hell
"He will not go to hell, the one who prays before the sun rises and before it sets," (H.R. Muslim).
