Be careful, don't pray Duha at these times

The dhuha prayer is one of the sunnah prayers that can complement the obligatory prayers. And this prayer time is also a special time. Where there is extraordinary wisdom from the implementation of the Duha prayer. This is the time, where many people say it is right to ask for easy sustenance.

Collected from various sources, it's just that sometimes someone is confused when to perform Duha prayer. Well, like breakfast, this dhuha prayer is carried out in the morning until before the arrival of the midday call to prayer. However, do not let you pray at times that are forbidden. When was that?

The first time that is forbidden to perform the Duha prayer is when after Fajr until the sun is around 06.00-07.30 in the morning. The second time that is forbidden to perform the dhuha prayer is when it enters midday until the sun slips or 11:30-12:15.

Both times are forbidden to perform the Duha prayer based on the prohibition of the Prophet . The following are the hadiths of the Prophet that show the times that are forbidden for the Duha prayer.

From Ibn Abbas said, "Those who are pleased and pleased with them come, namely Umar, he said that the Prophet forbade prayer after Fajr until the sun shines, and after Asr until sunset," (Narrated by Bukhari).

From Zaid bin Arqam, that he saw people doing the dhuha prayer (at a time that was not so late in the day), he said, "Remember, they already know that the dhuha prayer at other times like that is more important. Because the Messenger of Allah said, "The prayer of those who return to Allah is when the camels have woken up from their beds because of the heat of the sun," (HR. Muslim).

From Ibn Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah said, 'When the sun rises then end (do not perform) prayer until the sun is high. And when the sun sets, then end (do not perform) the prayer until the sun sets'," (HR. Bukhari).

Not only that, one of the reasons why the two times are forbidden to perform the Duha prayer is because of the devil who follows those times.

The Prophet said, "The sun rises with the devil following. When it started to rise, the sun was close to Satan, and when it started to rise it separated from him. When the sun is right in the middle of the sky, it returns to the devil, and when it is zawal (leaning towards the west) he separates from him. At the time of almost setting, he is close to the devil, and after sunset he separates from him again, "(Narrated by Nasa'i).

Those are the times that are forbidden to perform the Duha prayer. We need to pay attention to this. Don't let our worship be in vain just because of the wrong time to pray. Be more careful in carrying out the sunnah prayer, even though it is worth worship, but it can also be disastrous if you make a mistake.
