Don't Just Be Good, Be A Caller Of Kindness

WHAT comes to your mind when the word "good people and callers of kindness" comes to mind. Is there any difference between the two? Turns out there is.

What is the difference between Good People (Salih) and Good Callers (Mushlih)?

Good people are usually said to be pious people. This person is a person who always does good for himself only, while the caller of goodness or Muslih is a person who always does good for himself and others.

In addition, usually good people will be loved by humans, while callers of kindness will be hated by humans. How can that be?

It turns out that we can see this from the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam before being sent, he was loved by his people because he was a good person. But when Allah SWT sent him as a Caller of Good, his people immediately became hostile to him by calling him a sorcerer, a liar and even a madman.

How can it be like that?

The answer is because the Caller of Kindness 'brushes' the boulder of lust and repairs it from damage. Because it is through the caller of goodness that Allah takes care of this ummah. While good people only need to take care of themselves.

Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala says:

"And your Lord did not destroy a land unjustly, even though its inhabitants are callers of goodness."

From the explanation above, we can take a lesson that being pious is not enough for us, because we are not alone in this world. Then look at the conditions around you . Be a pious person who calls for goodness, don't feel satisfied just as a good person. waallahu'alam
