Adultery Is Debt?
Once upon a time there was a young man who said goodbye to traveling, looking for a job to help his family's economy. The father advised his son, "Take good care of your little sister."
This young man was shocked by this message. Because he went alone, and his sister was with the family at home. What does he mean he has to take care of his little sister.
The young man departed, but he also did not understand his father's message. After a few days passed, suddenly the father saw someone (a water seller) kissing his daughter.
When this young man returned home, his father immediately reprimanded him. "Didn't I tell you to take good care of your little sister." "What happened?" asked his son in surprise.
"An inch in return. If you had transgressed more than that, the water seller would have done more to his daughter."
[This story is mentioned by Shaykh Abdurrahman As-Suhaim: www.saaid.net]
Whoever the women who become our family, in fact they are our honor. Your mother, your wife, your daughter, your sister, your aunt, and all the women who are your relatives, are the honor of the man. If one of them commits adultery, it actually has tarnished the honor of the man.
For that, keep their honor by not disturbing the honor of others. Because adultery is debt and the stakes are your family.
Abu Umamah narrates,
"One day there was a young man who came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wassallam and said, "O Messenger of Allah, allow me to commit adultery!". His friends rushed to him and rebuked him, "Shut up, shut up!". The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wassallam said, "Come closer". The young man approached him and sat in front of him.
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wassallam asked, "Would you be willing if your mother was adulterated by someone else?". "No, by Allah, O Messenger," said the young man. "Similarly, other people are not willing if their mother is adulterated." "Are you willing if your daughter is adulterated?". "No, by Allah, O Messenger!". "Similarly, other people are not willing if their daughter is adulterated." "Are you willing if your biological sister is adulterated?". "No, by Allah, O Messenger!". "Similarly, other people are not willing if their sister is adulterated." "Are you willing if your aunt is adulterated?". "No, by Allah, O Messenger!". "Similarly, other people are not willing if their aunt is adulterated." "Are you willing if your mother's aunt is adulterated?". "No, by Allah, O Messenger!". "Similarly, other people are not willing if their aunt is adulterated."
Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wassallam put his hand on the young man's chest and said, "O Allah, forgive his mistakes, purify his heart and guard his private parts".
After that incident, the young man was never again interested in committing adultery.” HR. Ahmad no. 22211 and its sanad is validated by Al-Albani.
Any woman who commits adultery, has actually sliced the hearts of her father, brother, son, sister, uncle, and all mahrams.
Whoever the man who commits adultery with a woman, in fact he has torn apart the honor of all the men who are relatives of this woman. Even though he too will never be willing when his wife is adulterated, his daughter is adulterated, his sister is adultered… think about the hadith of Abu Umamah above.
